Is this a sign that he would cheat if he had the oppurtunity?

I went to a restauraunt drive through with my boyfriend recently, you could tell the girl taking our order was young from her soft spoken voice. He completed ordering our food then we pulled up but there were other cars in front of us so we were waiting. While we were waiting he took off his hat and started fixing his hair, he is trying a new hair look and started talking about his appearance because of his new hair look. The line moved forward and we went to the window to pay and get our food, it was a guy at the window, not the girl who had taken our order. As we drove off he started saying that he feels like people give him weird looks because of his new hair but that he didn't care. I'm thinking that he wanted to make his physical appearance to the best of his ability because he thought he was going to see a young pretty girl at the window but it was a guy. Is this a sign that if he met a young pretty girl somewhere and she showed interest that he would cheat? Or simply he cares too much about his physical appearance and impressing others? If that's true though, why did he say he didn't care what people think of his looks? Why would he fix his hair in the mirror before pulling up to the window to pay for our food?
