Long story short. I had a friends with benefits that turned into a situationship. Stuff happened. We stopped for a month then started back up. I asked “this just for fun right? No future between us, no hidden agendas, no feelings nothing like that right”? His answer was “I dont know. Why u found someone.” He’s the one who said he doesn’t want a relationship rn so why would he say “idk” instead of just saying yes? Ever since we started back up he’s been more sweet and caring then he used to be. He’s also been more verbal if I go on a date or talking to other guys. I don’t do it infront of his face but if he asks I’m not gonna lie and beat around the bush. Plus I haven’t hooked up with anyone besides him. I personally like to have one sex partner at a time and he knows that. So a date is just that. A date nothing more

I don't know maybe you’re trying to be like in this cool girl, removed frame of mind but do you know how cold it would look for him to just flat out say yes to your line of questioning? I think him saying I don't know was playing it safe, because a simple yes could look really mean and I’m sure he has some indication that you like him. Maybe your arrangement is just for fun in your eyes but if that’s the case then there’s no need to get all into verifying this and solidifying that, just go with the flow.
