Good luck at the end of the convo- can I still talk or is it the end?

I asked a guy for help with an internship, I reached out to him to ask how the application process goes and how the interview and everything goes. He replied back and helped, he answered some questions and he didn't answer others. I ended up texting him again but this time just to say Thank you for his help and his time and I was sorry for bothering him with my questions. He replied back saying- it wasn't a problem at all and good luck.

I want to ask him a few more questions but I feel like the good luck is a convo ender, I don't know I don't want to come off as annoying either.

What do you think?

Well, he can’t hold your hand through the whole process and you don’t want to put him in that sort of position anyhow. If you have more questions then let them be of absolute necessity and you’ve already tried figuring it out on your own; not the whole “what happens next? What can I expect after this?” sort of questions, because that does get annoying.

That seems good you were proactive reaching out with questions and asking for advice. But I agree with your thoughts that now it's time to just move on and do you best with the interview.

From what you described it doesn't sound like this guy is directly involved with the interview & hiring process/decision?
