Guy's Behavior

Guys, Guy sends me texts and voice notes non stop for 3 weeks and then kind of disappears saying he needs space?

A guy i met online, was in almost nonstop communication with me via text, calls, and voice notes (we live in different towns) for 3 weeks. He even makes plans to visit in another few weeks. Openly said he was interested.

Suddenly, the communication started dwindling with him first saying he was busy with work, then got influenza and him claiming he needed space. In the beginning i kept texting him once a day to ask about his health, finally i just sent him a voice note that he could also sometimes initiate communication now that he was feeling better. Only a single okay response and this was 4 days ago.

What does this mean and any advice on further course of action?

P. S. he is on my ig and fb, but i deleted his number so as to not be tempted to text him.
