Met a guy last night while out with a friend. He was working at the bar and was being very protective of us with some other dudes that kept bothering me. Super hot guy and I made a comment about how he should give me his number. I was mostly joking because he was so attractive and I didn’t think he’d take it seriously. So he brought me a pen and piece of paper. I wrote down my name and number and after that he walked by and ran his hand up my leg. Then he gave me a big hug when I left. But now I’m feeling high anxiety. I feel sort of stupid but I can’t see him being so friendly after getting my number if he wasn’t going to use it. What are the odds he actually calls or texts? Do guys still follow the 3 day rule? Do you ever ask for a number and not contact someone? Just curious. Trying to not be super hopeful.
I used to make contact at 3:00am post getting off. I assumed ringer off but if not, oh well... time stamp is the point !! The Message: Close down and get out and get home knowing "she" was on my mind the whole evening.
In your case, definitely strong on "you home safely"... not an act, Protector.
Make you sweat two days only to tell you that I work Thursday-Saturday and maybe Monday we can go have a fine meal together.
I know you can't resist so do NOT screw it up. Go on special night Thursday or whichever night... No flirty crap besides the full smile, body twist, look down at eye contact "woman crap"-highly effective though !! At end of evening on credit card copy or Business card, "thank you for your service"... no smiley garbage... just a period.

Just wait for him to call. I've never used a 3 day rule book.
Stop following a rulebook. Of days, minutes, weeks...
Do what makes him know that you like him. Only rule to follow when dating
