So this happened in a text message.
He said something about someone from our friend group. That the person talks a lot.
I said yeah isn’t that an American trait?
Then he said “probably” (FYI he’s an American Caucasian too)
I said I wanted to talk to you but…
To which he replied as “needy”.
Also added, “I’ll probably be able to next time”.

I don't know why he said that, I mean he was the one who came in strong showing interest and all but now all of a sudden he calls me needy when I genuinely wanted to talk to him.
I don't even text or call him daily. He keeps me craving more. It's like hey yk what let's play this game 🎯 I chase you and then when you chase me and crave for me I’ll go cold.
Also my heartbeat skipped a little bit when he suddenly appeared in the chat room unannounced. I hate this feeling how do I stop from thinking and expecting from him?

Maybe he meant Americans in general are needy, and not you specifically. I mean Americas can be accused in general of being needy.

I think you need him to clarify the remark, things over text can easily be misunderstood.

Yeah that’s what he said that he went to his aunts during the Thanksgiving. During the weekdays he works out and works from home. I don’t have any other information beyond this.
