Why does my ex keep blocking me and unblocking me on Instagram?

My ex keeps blocking me and unblocking me on instagram after I’ve already asked him to stop. He doesn’t message me or leave a comment. Just unblocks me, looks at my story some of the time and then blocks me again. He straight up told me that he’s okay with the fact that we may not get back together (he broke up with me), yet continues to, I assume, stalk my IG. What is the reason for this? What could he possibly want or get out of this if he’s made it clear that he doesn’t want me?

He's left you but wants to be nosey on your life without you seeing much of what he's up to.
My ex is a nosey person and used social media to spy on people.

If it's bugging you just block him and be done with it. If you want to stay in touch just leave the block for a few months before lifting it that way he will bet give up on being nosey every once in a while.

Or post loads of pics kissing random guys that will wind him up probably!

We don't know why your ex is doing this. Could be him just being curious what's up with you and that happens to people when they are still not over a breakup and it's very unhealthy. You should block him and end this for good. In fact, it's not good that you don't have him blocked to begin with.
