I'm an introvert by choice & by default & from little interaction I had with others I've noticed that it was the males who were "concerned" on why I don't date nor talk to girls or guys for that matter
Not a single girl cared except for 1 which was mostly out of pure curiosity
But in general the males cared more than the females

I am not trying to be offensive. We do not want to hang around closet gay guys who might hit on us... or hook-up with a tyranny. Guys have a hierarchy in our friend groups too... just like girls but different. We're very careful and if we don't know you we are not "setting you up with a nice girl we know or a piece".
Something has to give introvert. Either you chase your women and show results or you get to know the guys. In some places, the girls will ask the guys if he's straight or shy and awkward... if we do not know then it can be a difficult social situation.-Especially in the era of bisexuality.
