My crush found out a few years ago that i liked him. Now whenever we are in the same lecture, he sometimes makes it blatantly obvious that he is staring at me (I can see it from the corner of my eyes).
Other times he tries to watch me from the corner of his eyes when he thinks I don't pay any attention. Also when I yawn or make certain movements he repeats it right after me, so I know he is observing me.
I don't look at him anymore because my crush died a long time ago and I don't want anything to do with him anymore. So why would he do this? Does he only want to verify whether I still like him to boost his ego?

Maybe he heard something about you and is pondering on it. Or maybe he's pondering you happen to be in his line of sight. Or maybe he is genuinely attracted to you.
