Recently a guy friend of mine stated that he has a girlfriend moving in with him which was kinda surprising for me because he never mentioned her before. According to him she was someone who he was on and off with and things got complicated with them.
I told him that I don’t think we should hangout anymore and that he should make his girlfriend a priority. Only because I am his female friend and I feel like it’s the right thing to do.
On his part, he doesn’t wanna let me go and even stated that his girlfriend knows about me but doesn’t care that he hangs out with me. But I don't know, he even said he has a deep attachment towards me because of how well we get along etc.
But see the problem is him being attached to me. And I don’t think it’s good if he has a girlfriend too. And even though she may not care about me and him hanging out, her mind could change later on. I told him that I don’t wanna be the reason that him and her could possibly breakup if he’s spending too much time with me.
So yeah, he doesn’t want his relationship to effect our friendship but I have a bad feeling. Any help?
