Is it ok to unfollow someone who doesn’t reply to you?

I used to like this guy but he didn’t feel the same so anyway we’re still “friends” but he only reaches out when I leave him on read it seems like. Which is fine it’s just annoying that he feels like he needs to leave me on read. Also whenever I reach out just to ask a simple question or something he takes days to reply. I asked him a question recently and I’m pretty sure he’ll never reply. I get hours but I find days disrespectful and I feel like he thinks he’s God’s gift to the world in doing that. Is it okay to unfollow him or is it petty? What should I do?

I’m not. I don’t like him at all anymore. I just have questions and he always takes a day to reply. The last question was about he said he could take care of something for me and I asked if he ever got to it. No response so far.
