How are we supposed to guess what happened? You can't. How will I be able to? One could argue that you are going to have a much better idea considering you were there and you know these people versus a bunch of internet strangers.
This reminds me of the questions that ask us to read someone's mind. We just can't. All we are going to do is guess. So, here we go...
Maybe they went to talk about something. Perhaps there was a dispute between them some other time and they went to clear the air. Maybe one wanted to tell the other he/she like him/her and wanted it to be a private discussion.
Another possibility is they are friends and one of them had something big happen in life (good or bad) and couldn't wait any longer to share that. Perhaps they went and had sex. That could be possible if it was a party and alcohol is involved.
Here is the real question... what business is it of yours? That is between them and I fail to understand why it is so important you know what happened.
I know what jumps to your mind because it jumps to my mind as well. My first thought is do you know her true intentions ⁉️ If she likes him then she’s trying to divide and will confess the best tear 😢 show you’ll see.
If it were me, I would determine her intent first while watching the other party quietly. Sometimes non-judgmental quite observation is best. You could be falling right into her Trap
