I have always thought this was so odd. Me and my girlfriend will argue and she will say really hurtful things. Then , like clockwork, the next day, she acts as if nothing was said and nothing happened. Its weird to me, i've never been around someone that will be yelling then an hr later is completely normal and even happy and laughing as if nothing ever happened. Why is this?
Pride. Always been pride.
Or it's cousin, insecurity or low self-esteem.
Act like nothing is better than acknowledging that both of you contributing to the conflict.
Contribution to a conflict is bad image.
It's either you, or not her.
If not her, usually the lady would stay silent.
Mature stable lady would know when communication is key.
As a girl that does this I will help one: this is just her personality. Some people don’t hold grudges and have the ability to move on from a fight very fast and actually you should be thankful that your girl does it. She wants you guys to be okay and to move on instead of staying focused on the negative things. Apologize to her and she will apologize to you as well. Don’t take that ability for granted.
