In my opinion short gym shorts are much more comfortable and cooler than long shorts. Plus, it feels good when the breeze hits my thighs. I am the only guy here in the sunshine state who is sporting short shorts; most guys wear long shorts. I am a slender guy who is quite fit; my arms, glutes, and legs are somewhat buff.
It's weird to me, but I grew up thinking it's weird if you can see a dudes knee when he wore shorts. So I don't know, I guess as long as your boys don't fall out when you sit down it's probably OK.
You're not weird for thinking that way. I think they're more comfortable for most sports. But people will think you're strange.
Not strange at all, and used to be in fashion both in the 70s and 80s and the 40s and 50s.
It's all good as long as there is no visible danglage. I implore you sir, don't unleash that on an unsuspecting public.
