Should I confess and block him or should I wait?

I decided to confess to my crush who doesn't feel the same way (his friend told me) and block him so I can move on, but my friend told me to wait until my crush ask me out again so I can confess to him because she thinks it's not the right time, I do kinda agree with her but I will keep think of him all the time since we're long distance and he barely is online, l. What do I do should I wait or just confess and block him?

About tye hangout thing, he used to always ask to hangout since I'm the inky one he knows in the city he moved to and he see me just as a friend so yeah I'm waiting so he can ask me to hangout again to confront him.

First, don't block him -- regardless of whether you wait or "confess". Save blocking for people who are stalking you, or spamming you, or sending you unsolicited nudes, etc. Don't block because he is a "crush who doesn't feel the same way" or because of how you feel. That perpetuates immaturity and lack of communication skills and, frankly, it's mean. Blocking is NOT a harmless thing.

Second, 'confess' is the wrong word. One definition of confess is "admit or state that one has committed a crime or is at fault in some way" and the other is "admit or acknowledge something reluctantly, typically because one feels slightly ashamed or embarrassed." (There's a third, but that has to do with religion.) Anyway, I'm being pedantic, but confess is the wrong word.

As for what to do, I'd wait. One of two things will happen: either you guys will talk more at which point you can 'confess' or the conversation will peter out and die of its own accord and then you move on. And you don't have to block which makes you look like a good person.

I feel like you’ve got some growing up to do, because confessing then blocking him is childish, like ding-dong ditch. Having that “I just have to get this off my chest” mentality is really conflicting with your boundaries, otherwise you would be brave, tell him your feelings then move on without blocking. So why tell him at all? You don’t need to put yourself through rejection and having him pity you or feel guilty for inadvertently hurting your feelings. All of that is avoidable if you choose to just let it go.

Tell him truth as it relates to the like and dislike of online time together. Give him 10 days to straighten out. If not, then block.

I can't be sure which idea is most childish - confessing your adoration for someone you already KNOW doesn't reciprocate your affection, OR blocking him once you do it! LOL
