Do guys often offer their female classmate to carry heavy lagguages?

Well, we went on a college trip.. and this guy is from another section, but yeah classmates..
Like there were my few other friends too.. even they were carrying heavy bags.. but he offered me to carry my bags..
I don't know but it felt little weird
And my friends kept asking me if he ur close friend..

Or did he feel that i was so weak to carry my own bags...

I would not call it common but it happens. I don't think that it was a sign he thought you were weak. I think, if anything, he was trying to be nice and possibly show that he has some interest in you.

Now, do not go overthinking this. It is entirely possible that he was just being a gentleman. Be thankful as they are a dying breed. Also, him not carrying your friends bags doesn't mean much. He likely had your stuff and his. He only has so many hands. Perhaps he just picked you out of the group.

Take it as a nice gesture. If he continues to do things like that (and other signals), he might be doing it to get your attention. That is a very real possibility that he has a thing for you and this is his way of making you notice him.

In the end, no matter what the intention, be thankful that there are still nice guys out there that will do those little things for you and others. My husband was like that when we first started dating. I loved all the gentlemanly things he did. Made me feel special.

It is pretty common, not all guys do it, but a lot do, and I don't think it means a lot except that they are nice or want to be seen as gentlemen, it does not nec. mean he is flirting with you, he might want to look like a good guy to impress another girl or an adult or he might just feel it's the right thing to do. I would say thank you and not worry much about it, JMO!

He probably wanted to get close to you because he thinks you're pretty. Guys will do that kinda thing all the time. I used to. And I still see when other guys do it too. It's a simpy move because most guys wouldn't do that if you were overweight or not particularly good-looking.

If he wouldn't do that for any other girl, you should just appreciate his 'gentlemanly' courtesy and leave it at that. You don't want a guy who will give a girl a hand only because you're cute.

around here this is very common, yes...

people do tend be helpful with others, known or strangers... if the luggage seems to be heavier then people will offer to help you without hidden intentions

I think it depends on the guy. I met guys who would offer to carry my stuff while others don't. Tbh it depends on the guy character and mannerism.

It's all about knowing the guy, who you're dealing with. With time you can smell a flirt from a mile away and that is also the same for friendly gestures. Some do it with a motive in mind, others will do it out of the goodness of their heart. If it's the first group you can play into it and flirt back in some way if you like him, if it's the guy who's just very friendly and polite, don't take it for granted :)
