In this case, I don't think it's that. Yes, he may like you. But in this case my gut says that he's thumbing down your celebrity crush and it's not a statement either of his like for you or that he doesn't want to hear about those people. Just be you. Like, don't obsess over your celebrity crush and every text is about them but once in a while, sure.

In the meantime, read the chats carefully and figure out what the guy you like likes -- and post about that one in a while: you'll get his attention real quick.
