What is the reason someone would call you repeatedly with a blocked number?

Someone keeps blowing up my phone calling me repeatedly anywhere from midnight sometimes all the way till 4am just blowing me up on no caller id. I answer and I can hear background noise but they won’t say anything. I’m assuming it was a guy I was involved with but can’t really pin it on anyone.. lol I’ve already changed my number from this might have to do it again. What is the point of this? It’s extremely creepy

I am guilty of doing this with my baby's dad except I only call maybe once or twice a week. for me it was because I have no contact with him and I done it for these reasons.

1. I was checking to see if his number was still connected

2. I wanted to hear his voice

He knows its me that has been calling him but he doesn't say anything and it's been months of me doing it and he hasn't changed his number. I don't know the reasons for why he hasn't changed his number or why he hasn't said anything. All I know is that we have a kid together who he hasn't met this was his choice

Sounds like someone trying to intimidate/harass or create a reaction.
I believe you can set your phone not to receive or notify you of no caller id calls...
Failing that change your number and be VERY selective who and where you share it

Who cares why? Aren't you more pissed at getting the calls? I would turn my phone off.
