When my boyfriend does something for me, I always appreciate him and tell him how sweet he is. I don’t know if he’s just joking when he responses to it but whenever I compliment him like that, he says ‘Don’t patronize me’ or ‘fuxk don’t even say that’. He smiles when he says that but I feel weird about his reaction. Why does he act like that when he gets compliment? Doesn't he like my compliments?
We like GENUINE compliments. Most guys that are adept to women know women manipulate. When you're lying or faking and we know it. And you know we know it it's not a compliment. It's an insult. You're telling him he's not smart enough to see what you're doing.
I he probably likes them, he just isn't sure how to respond. Many people struggle with that. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

I'd be more like. Really? You think so? Thank you. He probably just has a odd reaction to it, but likes it.
Keep giving them, most of us just don't know how to take them and fail at keeping cool/not blushing.
Guys love compliments especially the not so great looking ones.
