Guy's Behavior

I don't understand why he did?

There is a guy he is very shy. he won't talk much to girls. i and him started chatting as friends he started disliking me so i stopped texting. he knows i like him but he stares at me even i don't. he tells his friend that i like him. i had an attraction before. but he stares at me often he tells his friend to check whether i stare him back. whenever he stare i too stare him indirectly. recently i , his friend and him were in a place. he was telling something to his friend. he stare at me i too stare him indirectly then his friend stare at me behind me he stared at me and then he left. but he didn't move he was staring at me. it collapse me. why he does this?
