Don’t you think it’s dumb how they try to make women believe they are as capable as men.

After 2 decades of women doing better than men academically, still men are dominating the 1% and every industry. Men are more capable

As soon as life gets tough we revert back to our gender roles and the man has to war etc..

I'm glad to see the poll numbers.

Women are as capable as men in anything that doesn't require physical size and strength.
The fact that they are doing better academically proves it.
The fact that more men than women occupy positions of power proves that discrimination still exists. There is still a good old boys club.

But what gets overlooked is that women are the ones who get pregnant and they are the nurturers. Men's time isn't hindered by that.

Men tend to be more dominant (forceful and aggressive), emotionally stable (cold), linear thinking and decisive, while women tend to be more sensitive, warm (attentive to others), inclusive, willing to consider things from all angles and seek consensus.

So there is a bias toward male behavior, which may or may not be more effective. It's just the way things are, even today, in light of the fact that men have been running things forever at the exclusion of what the consider to be the weaker sex.

And, you're right, women only began to gain equal treatment under the law in very recent times. So there hasn't been enough time for them to gain equal treatment. Male chauvinism still exists.

Men have always been given better chances to prove capability. Sometimes better chances to even try to become capable. Until men and women have seen and treated each other as equals in everything for a very long time we have no right to assume anything.
