Do guys give second chances after acting crazy?

So I got into a situation last summer. I put the guy on a high pedestal and I needed constant reassurance. He was my first. We were in this situation for like 6 months he even asked me to be his girlfriend I’m between this time. Eventually he ghosted after so much of my begging and etc. I’m so embarrassed ugh. Anyway. It’s been a while since we’ve talked and he has started to plague my mind again. I miss him. I want to try again and I’ll try and be better. I’ve been working on myself. I know why I did the things I did but I know he probably thinks I’m crazy. Do guys ever give second chances? Do you think he’ll ever want to try again with me or speak to me again? He wasn’t all innocent either but I still would like to know

After all of that, you’re really tempted to let your loneliness win and go back? All I see here is a girl who really needs to work on herself before she can be with anyone. If you’re crazy when it comes to men and not doing the work to be better then focus on that right now. Besides If that guy were to welcome you back it would be for nothing but sex.

You have a point but I simply compare everyone to him. He just made me feel something with someone and I never felt. I wanted him to my core and I would at least like the friendship of it

Everyone has that person at one point or another but ultimately it didn’t work for a reason, and I think you need to acknowledge that aspect more than the parts that make you happy. It sounds like there were a lot of faults on your behalf but the guy wasn’t innocent. You compare men to who he used to be, but unfortunately that was a very small chunk of time in comparison to when things started going downhill. You do yourself no favors by making him the standard for other men to live up to.
