Guy's Behavior

I met this guy and I really like him, he makes fun of close guy friends and asks if I like them, he has mentioned plans with me, can someone help?

There was one time when I sang a song like 'its me or your ps5' and I swear on everyone's life I know he said 'you' but i just said what did u say and he said nothing and laughed it off, he had a crush on my best friend but if I'm honest us two have became pretty close but this is my first time feeling like this in a long time towards someone, but I have noticed he has put a girl as his pfp? And my heartdropped when I saw it and I just played it off like I don't care but I asked him and he said it was just a mate he was on call too, some of the time when we are on call he is on his phone message a really close mate of his or watching videos and I try my best to start convos, but the times when he doesn't do that he asks to video call just so he can see my face.. he keeps giving me mixed signals and I know I shouldn't feel jealous or anything like that when he talks to other girls cause he is allowed to but it still hurts thinking about it.. can someone help me please I really don't want to go through a heartbreak again and he is an amazing friend and if he doesn't like me like that I don't wanna lose him
