I was friends with this coworker for about a few months. We hang around each other at work a lot. He is usually the one coming over to my dept trying to flirt with me. I know its not right but the only reason why I really hung around him was because I had no one to talk to at work and nearly singled out from other coworkers.
Recently.. I got in trouble for it and had a long talk with my manager. All he told me were we are hanging around each other too much and that we can't hang with each other anymore due to too many complaints from other coworkers. I agreed but the thing is nothing was said to him. No one called him in the office, he didn't get in trouble and nothing was told to him. I don't know what happened with me but since that incident I have grown a strong dislike for him. Although, he apologized to me for me getting in trouble but I no longer want anything to do with him. He feels the energy change is is becoming upset about it.

nope, you're not wrong to cut off your coworker. my issues with coworkers were different, but i essentially cut them off because they were being extremely toxic and ruining my mental health. thankfully they quit the job eventually because they were making everyone so uncomfortable.
you do anything to make sure you are seen as a good employee at work so you don't get the boot like you coworker should have. you're going to be okay, but yes definitely cut this dude off. all you have to do is go to work, do work, get your paycheck, and go home. do not let people distract you like this dude was doing. also, kind of weird that he didn't get the same treatment... seems like your workplace is not too friendly.
this is just why i don't make friends at work. he shouldn't take it personally, but he probably will. but that's not your problem anymore!

nope not at all.
Yeah, I would not be okay with that. I would try to get revenge on him. Like spray paint his manager’s car and then leave an empty spray paint can around his desk area.
