I told a guy ( who I got close with) over the past few months maybe it’s best we don’t talk or know each other anymore, because I felt he was sending me mixed signals. Acting hot/cold, and he knew I liked him. His response was “ ok”. So naturally when I see him at school I expect not much of anything, however ever since seeing him in passing he will look right at me, and say “ hey how’s it going?” As if I never messaged him saying we probably shouldn’t talk or know each other. I’m a little surprised, wasn’t expecting that. Guys, if you do this why?

I said to him maybe we shouldn’t talk or know each other anymore. I would think most people would believe that means not to ask a person how they’re doing. It’s odd I guess
