I’m 21 and I think my coworker is 20s or 30s. He works in the kitchen.
Last week he came to the front desk where I work and was like “I’m happy to see you today” and looked at me. I stuttered and said I didn’t know what to say and he laughed.
Since then he’ll steal glances at me when I’m talking to someone else.
I was alone and he came from a door and I told him I had been looking for him ( I had a package ) and he was like “we’re you?” Kind of flirtatiously.
He’s complimented other coworkers nails and dress once but he seems more brotherly with them.
I was on the phone with a guy and he came over in my area and told me I smelled really good.
He had to train this girl and kept coming in the lobby with her. I saw them but coincidentally was already rushing to leave. I rushed to the bathroom and the girl came in there and we talked. When I left he was standing outside the bathroom and I made a face. He asked me “what was that?” And was talking about my walk and I told him he scared me and he followed me back into the lobby and told me bye.
Friday he asked if I had any plans for this weekend. I told him I was just hanging with my dad for Father’s Day and I asked back. He then was like “I’m going to the mountains with my… girlfriend and her dad” he took forever to say girlfriend then I was like “cool” and he was like “yeah” and kept saying it and he kept lingering and I felt a sexual energy.
I had something to do for him and told him I got busy and was sorry he told me I was doing amazing.
at the end of my shift I had to print and fix something and he was like “thank you for doing that” and looked at me for a little longer.
When I came in yesterday he was sitting at my desk on his laptop. When I got off the phone he asked how my weekend was. I told him I hung with a guy. Later I saw a bug and was scared and he pretended to scare me by saying it was near me.
Since yesterday he feels kinda distant and like i barely see him. Is it because I mentioned a guy?

How long has he been distant? And what kind of things is he doing to make him seem distant?
Maybe he is distancing himself because of his girlfriend?
Just for today. I just haven’t seen him around as much. He’s been in the kitchen all day and I barely saw him this morning and he didn’t come in my area. Maybe he was busy because there’s an event tomorrow but ever since I mentioned the guy I’m seeing. And I don't know he’s had a girlfriend this whole time and wasn’t distant before.
Could he still be interested?
I would advise against pursuing men that are already in relationships, but I wouldn't over think it. It's just one day and he's probably just busy working.

Not necessarily based on the information here. Older guys tend to be a little more straight forward and direct.
But he could be. It's hard to say without seeing the interaction first hand.
How long have you known him/ worked with him?
I mean like I said I don't know how old he may be but I’m pretty sure mid to late 20s and no older than 30.
And we’ve only known each other a couple of weeks lol
Also how direct could you be in a workplace
I don't know. But if he's interested he will make it known soon enough. Sounds like you just started working together. So give it some time.
Its also possible that he is interested but unwilling to get involved because of the potential consequences or that he recognizes that you are interested and will flirt with you, but will never actually act on it.
You will have to wait and see.
