Need answers / boyfriend concerned with his appearance?

Wondering why every night my boyfriend comes home from work he's complaining about his physical appearance and telling me people are telling him he lost weight (I believe this to be a lie, excuse to hit the gym) and that he wants to work out and become physically "fit" . However when I try to do myself up he gets mad, jealous and accuses me of cheating. I ask him why it seems to only be when he comes home from work and there's no clear answer from him. I fear he's cheating on me or trying to impress someone else, am I wrong?

It sounds like he might be cheating, considering he accused you of cheating when you tried to work out as well. People tend to do that when they are cheaters themselves sadly

Now to add to the excuses that sound like lies... he just told me a guy saw him struggle to lift a box at work and made fun of him for it. He also tells me there's no females at his work but he works at a huge company that's known in multiple countries.

That is such a lame excuse, I wouldn't believe it one bit. He sounds controlling as well. If I were you, I'd leave him and quick too, before he can control you any more or feed you more lies. You deserve better

It does sound like he is cheating or up to something he wants to keep a secret like gambling.
