Why does my friend with benefits want to stop sleeping together?

I’ve been friends with benefits with him for over a year and we go on dates all the time and always end up sleeping together, it’s more just casual. We’re just friends who sleep together. The other night he hit me with the “I don’t think we should sleep together anymore” line and I consented. It does get confusing as we both like each other we just can’t be in a relationship due to our lives being so different. I don’t want to ask him and feel like he’s being pressed into continuing having sex, I’m just curious what’s some reasons he would maybe just want to stop this all of the sudden? He doesn’t want to stop hanging out, just the sex to stop.

I honestly think he was just talking to someone at the moment and isn’t anymore. Which I respect. We’ve hung out 2x since I asked this and have slept together both nights. I don't know he’s confusing. I think once we both find someone else this will stop and we can both just move on. I think we’re both just lonely at the moment and the sex is good.

Probably some personal reason. I used to do friends with benefits's and most of the girls I've lost are because they found some dude that has promised a relationship...

If it's not that it's because they were taken but in a LDR with their man that is about to end or just cheating and starting to feel guilty about it.

It could be something like that with your friends with benefits. We used to call it NSA (No Strings Attached), but in recent times that "Friends with Benefits" term took over.

Male it’s really tough to be a female you have to have the perfect looks and try to find yourself the perfect man or you have to be extremely intelligent be an attorney and make it on your own and most female attorneys don’t look that pretty so it’s a tough life.
