He is a good friend and im just wondering because he doesn't usually say it. Then I said I prefer to be spontaneous. He then said he'd rather prepare when I visit him. The thing is he never told me this before whenever i visit him. It's always spontaneous. Now, he wants to know ahead but i feel uncomfortable saying it ahead haha.
It’s simple & it’s possible his place is a dump & he want to make sure it’s clean or it is possible he has a girlfriend & wants to make sure she is out of town.
Sometimes being prepared makes everything way better. Whether being able to get time off, or sorting his life or place for you. Maybe he has dates lined up. I need to know when people intend to visit because I might not even be in-town considering how much on-the-go I am.

Nothing wrong w that. There could be a lot of reasons. Maybe he works so if he knows you’re going to be in town he can take off some time to spend w you. Maybe his place is a mess, so giving him a heads up gives him time to tidy it up. Maybe he just wants to make sure he’s in town when you happen to be there. Maybe he has a side chick or something. There’s a lot of maybes. Maybe he needs to hold onto some extra money to have some when you come to town so he can have some fun w you.
