Why do I pay attention to that girl so much?

Recently I pay attention to a girl so much, I’m curious what she does and can’t help keep an eye on her, I think about her, and I even followed her once to see what she was up to (not stalking). From just being curious about her at first, now I find myself sometimes wanting to tease her, her voice and the mention of her name by others would catch my attention.
I never noticed her in the past, she used to not be my type, I thought she was ordinary and nothing about her stood out, I usually won’t even pay attention to girls that aren’t my type. Am I just curious about her or is there something more about my feelings that I’m not aware of? Can we pay attention to someone of the opposite sex so much without being romantically attracted to them?

Yea! I get what you mean, but I’m not sure if I’m attracted to her or not. But I guess maybe there is since no one would want to notice something they don’t find interesting or attractive.

I feel like attraction begins as something small and then can grow into romantic attraction or whatnot. I think it's possible to pay attention to someone without being romantically attracted to them at first, and then depending on how we 'fall' for someone, we might end up catching feelings for them while paying all the attention to them.
of course, i feel like everyone is different and my opinion may not apply to you.

That's something you'll have to find out for yourself. And i don't think it just boils down to 'romantic attraction' per se. All sorts of attraction gets thrown in the mix. Very much like dating or getting into a relationship, you'll have to spend more time interacting with her to find out if you wanna convert that attraction into a relationship or not. Being attracted to someone doesn't necessarily equals to wanting to be in a relationship with them. You can be attracted to someone but they might not be the right fit for you in a relationship. So it's important to find out what you want in a relationship. Unless you don't mind dating casually and trying it out. That's a good way to find out what you and she wants, but managing each others expectations is important to make sure you don't end up hurting each other too bad (i'm not the best at relationship advice so take my opinion with a pinch of salt)

I don’t know, she’s not my usual type, if someone ever told me in the past that I would fall in love with her, I would be like “heck!! NO!!”
