A guy asked me out and I said yes and he never followed up with plans. I brought it up to him and he responds, "you said you just wanted dinner, right?" And I said yeah and then he never followed up again about it. He talks to me everyday about work and stuff but never brings it up...
When I ask a woman out I usually ask them if they want to do the plan with me and sometimes if I like her company I add as I go. So maybe kayak in the morning then lunch. Or maybe kayak, lunch, trampoline park, then desert. Depends on how good we get along but I ask her for example "Do you want to go to a trampoline park with me"?
Because they spend so much time stressing and practicing about asking someone out and go through so much rejection they never really consider what to actually do if she says yes.

They expect you to say no but when you say yes, they have to ask themselves if it is really worth the money, energy, planning and time...
