Would you turn the heater down if your partner was hot?

We are in spring and my partner is still cold and puts the heater on the highest heat at night.

I can't be in the same room because it's too hot.

I've worn tshirts to not be too but the heat makes my face red.

We're always having silly arguments about it cause he won't turn the heat down.

Would you turn the heat down. Even to compromise it at the halfway point?

He won't even do that so I have to spend the evenings in the other room.

Has he tried layers of clothing first? Blankets etc? I am like chronically cold, but my kids never are so it's just me so I use the cheaper options first. I've literally never touched the thermostat because I just crack on with blankets or doing things.

That’s weird, wouldn’t you want ur partner to be comfortable? Ofc you should compromise, they can turn it down a little and just wear more clothes with a thicker blanket. No way they’re freezing that badly
