Guy canceled hang out last minute and didn’t reschedule?

Me and this guy from work hang out a lot at his place outside of work. I went to see him Friday and had a fun time with him and stayed up all night with him. I asked him what were his plans for the next day (Saturday) and he said that he was going to hang out with one of his guy friends but he wanted to cancel that to hang out with me and watch some more movies. I told him I had stuff to do Saturday and that I would come back today (Sunday). I texted him and said that I’ll be over at 5 and he replied back saying he had to do a rain check because he was still babysitting his cousins kids and his cousin didn’t come over to pick them up yet. My two problems were that he didn’t tell me about it earlier and that he didn’t offer to reschedule. Before this I had no contact with him for a couple weeks and I chose to reach out to him but I think I’m regretting it. What should I do?

You're awfully sensitive about this situation. Sorry to say it but it is true. If he was babysitting then maybe he had his hands full with the kids and really didn't have time to think about when he would next have time to hang out with you. What if this babysitting was short notice so that's why the problem and also why he didn't tell you. Sounds like you are giving up on him or about to give up over one little thing. I mean it isn't like he didn't have a legit excuse.

You are acting like a girlfriend about this whole deal, are you? Sounds to me like you are just fucking. This is why you establish that you are in a committed relationship BEFORE you have sex. Otherwise you have no call to be saying anything about him
babysitting? I mean really? Chill out, think out your situation.
