Is it possible for a guy to be really sesitive and caring and kind even if he is in his teens (16-17)?

I asked him to answer some qouestions for my novela, something like, how do you feel before a date, how do you get ready for it, how do you act toward the girl you're with, how do you choose topics of conversation. And his answers were really sweet, and they looked like I wrote them (I am a hopeless romantic). And it doesn't really match his persona, especially because he's a boxer, and a wing man to the alpha male of the group.

I was when I was that age. Probably why I was 14 when I met and eventually married the girl I was with for 15 years. Now I'm like a sourpatch candy sour and sweet, not necessarily in that order. I was raised by a single mom. She worked her ass off so we could eat so I admired, and respected woman and what they could do at a young age

In my personal oppinion (and it's also said in psychology books that I read), people in their teens tend to act differently than when they were tweens, or kids, so I guess it has some impact on it?
