Met a guy, he seemed sweet and the first time we met, we clicked well. I'm 28 and he is 23, so there is a bit of an age difference. We started messaging each other and made plans that I go to his city and stay with him for a while. When I arrived, something felt off, I didn't feel like he was that into me anymore, but brushed it off. We slept with each other and the next day I'm hit with the fact that "he just got out of a relationship" and he "doesn't feel a connection" and that he's not ready. I wasn't expecting much, but in the end it really did hurt me... When I got back I was in a lot of pain, because I really liked him and felt used. He knew he hurt me, but we stopped speaking and he deleted my number. I didn't deserve that kind of treatment, I was nothing but kind. But maybe he is just too young and didn't understand what he was doing. But it doesn't seem fair that he goes on with his life like nothing happened, whilst I am in pain. So... do guys ever regret hurting a girl? Do they realize what they did?
