Why do boys bash girls for playing combat/rpg games?

im saying games like valorant, cod, etc. Im speaking from experience here since i used to play a lot of rpg games not until i quit due to getting trashtalked everytime i enter a round in a game n my teamates find out im a girl

It's not a woman thing. Dudes trashtalk each other all the time, even when playing locally and in any multi-player game. I have friends who do it over Smash Bros when I play with them.

It's just that dudes are less likely to take it personally or trash talk back knowing it is usually in good fun. People never talked about it until more women started joining the fray without knowing what they were getting themselves into and now it is considered a problem.

I don't play these games not because of this but I find it too repetitive for my liking so I rather play single player campaigns. So I could be wrong but if you can't handle it then there are more options for you, many of which I personally prefer more than multi-player.

It's funny how much of you think this is a guys vs girls issue, it's really not. This is a asshole gamer vs everyone issue, it's been a thing since multiplayer games were created, I don't play league anymore because the toxic community and by the way a lot of the toxic players I came across on league were girls, so it's really not a guys bashing girls at games issue

Pfff, guys bash on each other when playing competitive games and they don't treat there any different. Playing games like those boost our competitive drive which is pretty much used for survival and naturally a part of men. It's not because you're a girl. That applies for other situations too and feminists just cannot stop pulling out the gender victim card.

We're guys. We trash talk each other constantly, so some trash talk may be accepting you into the group. If it's not that kind of trash talk then forget them, when you get older and are playing with more mature people it won't be as prevalent.

No idea, i never witnessed anything while playing MMORPGs.

But i also don't play FPS like Valorant or COD, so maybe its a problem with these games communities.

Same as League of Legends where everyone is so salty.

It's things like this that makes me feel ashamed to be called a gamer. For some reason a big portion of the gaming community is so toxic. I don't get it. I can't imagine being so mean to people while we are all doing something we enjoy.

I don't think I ever bashed a girl in PUBG. It's got to be you are feeling this way because boys usually play to win and you thought they were angry or something
