Guys, What do you really mean when you’re confused or conflicted about a girl?

like what’s the outcome are you confused and do you like the girl, bad timing, personal issues… do you ever wanna date or get in a relationship with the girl.
I’d like to know if you’ve ever had experience as a confused guy and what causes it? And if you even liked the girl was there any romantic interest/ were trying for a connection but you don’t know what happened exc?

There is a girl that currently fits that description perfectly for me. I have every reason to forget about her, but I simply cannot.
