Why did he ask me if I find any guys attractive?

Me and this guy have a thing going on. We’re friends but act more than friends but never made it official.

i was away on holiday (without him) and was telling him all about it when he suddenly asked me if I found any guys attractive whilst I was away. I straight up told him no because I didn’t, so then he states that I must’ve gotten hit on a lot, which I did and was honest about it.

But why does he care so much, it’s not like we’re dating and he always refers to me as a friend.

It’s really confusing and just want to know why guys do this.

He's gauging if you like him too. These days basically every woman gets hit on by lots of guys, and lots of women value it so much that they will cheat in a heartbeat. This is a recent shift in our society, and I think most men have caught on. So asking if you're attracted to other guys, give him a sense of where your head is at with him romantically. he's probably just as confused and indecisive as you are, possibly because he doesn't want to lose out of a great friendship for something that you may not even want.

This could be due to a couple of reasons. Number one, he may be trying to gauge the amount of risk involved before he goes any further. He may also have questions about what kind of social, and personal life you're used to having. Or he might just be curious.
