asking since i came back from a “date” (it was mostly him with his friends and me tagging along or holding his hand or him touching my waist or hips a bit)

came home and said i looked beautiful (aww). we talked about the day then a few minutes later he comments on how incredible my hips are and how he’s addicted to me because i’m gorgeous and i have an amazing body, and then tells me how he wants to touch all of it and for me to tell him where to touch

also i gave him a kiss on the cheek before going home and now he’s asking to kiss me up the whole afternoon the next time he sees me

is this weird or normal?

He's basically telling you he wants to please you he wants to make love to you without a commitment.
He's trying to tell you that your energies feel good together and he wants to take a deeper he wants to feel what that feeling is all about.
Sometimes these are the best type of relationships to get started in because they can go anywhere.
Just because he's being honest with you but not 100% honest.
It's your job to read in between the lines I guess are understand what he's trying to say by the words that he does not say if that makes sense

So look at it like this he wants to make love to you he wants you to feel the things that he feels coming from you your energy.

And it will be a very beautiful experience.
This is an experience that can go either direction at the depends on what happens in between each time that you have sex or make love.

So if you're looking for a commitment.
Before sex
If he's a typical guy he will lie and give you that commitment through his words only just to get in your pants because of what he feels through your energy
But if you feel the same thing sometimes not having that commitment first we'll set a foundation and things just might work out the way you want them to.
For how long that's up to both of you you have to work to make any relationship work.
And depending on who you both are and what you both want this could be a very fun time in your life a very good experience..
