Can there be any other reason that he wants me to wear revealing dresses?

See you don't have to do things that you don't like. It's your life. You should wear revealing dress if you feel comfy in it and about him I don't know why he likes it because as much as I know men don't love to share their woman. He might think you of his object to jealous his friends
