Would guys tease only the girls they like?

They might if it is their way of flirting. Teasing is definitely a common flirting tactic. I think the older we get the less that happens. You can look at it two ways. One is that it for sure is a way to flirt with someone that you like. Less likely it is just the way a guy is and his personality. That isn't impossible but you would see that sorta behavior with all girls and not just one particular one. I think there would also be other signs of flirting besides the teasing.
