How to deal with a guy who keeps leaving and coming back into your life?

This guy keeps leaving and coming back. Basically, he comes back, we talk for some time and everything is going well. Then, he just ends up getting mad at me over something stupid & says he doesn't want to talk to me anymore. He blocks me and disappears. A few weeks later he comes back & the cycle repeats. At this point, this just seems like a joke. I feel like he is being immature, yet he always says I'm the problem

Stop letting him back then? You already know exactly how the cycle goes so why not cut it out. The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over & over and expecting different results. You can’t love him into changing.

I just dont understand how someone can do this over and over and not even feel bad about it

Because he doesn’t take you seriously. As of now, what you’ve taught him is that no matter what you will take him back. Even if you act hesitant in the beginning, eventually you give into how much you miss/love him and act normal. No repercussions, not much work required, and that should really poss you off that he’s learned you will accept this. I think you can do better, I think you should want better, and it’s time to change the story. Show him that he will lose you for real.
