My boyfriend keeps asking me money we used to split everything or take turns paying when we go out to eat but he just stopped and expect me to pay for everything. (We don’t live together)
Last week I got a little extra money so I ask my boyfriend if he wanted to eat at his favorite food spot. It usually like $7.99–$10.00 per place. When we go there this man ordered a family meal (which is food for 5 people) it totaled to $42.00. I was confused on why he ordered so much food when it was just the two of us. He ended up taking home a lot of leftovers that lasted him 2-3 days.
After we ate he wanted beers so we went to the liquor store next to the place. I picked out one big can of beer for him and brought it to the cashier. He came behind me carrying two cases of 12 packs and I was like wtf. He said he would pay me back so I purchased them and it totaled to another $40. I’m now regretting that I offered to do buy him food because I didn’t budget for all that and he kept the change which was another $20. Now that it time to pay me back the $60 he starting arguments so he doesn’t have to pay me back.
He then turns around and ask me for $1,200 to fix his car or said he would break up with me if don’t help him. I did him a favor and went ahead and broke up with him and saved myself a $1,200. He still hasn’t paid me back for all the beers and keeps making excuses.
I feel like there is a rise of the sassy boy area when grown men are expecting woman to provide for them or finance there lifestyle instead of being the providers that they were born to be.
why are guys like this and why is there a rise of zesty men?
Please don’t say because woman allow it.
