Do you look different than your age?

I am indeed 24 years old, although for some time, I've appeared older than I really am. I started growing facial hair seemingly before most did. I noticed it starting to appear when I was 10, but even then, some of my friends jokingly called me an old dude.

It's remained true today and I'm glad for it, cause I'm happy to take any distance I can from the behavior of people who are my age or younger.

We're really going in the wrong direction, and I act relatively older. I'm still far from a wise old man, but I seemingly developed my understanding at rates similar to where previous generations expanded their understanding. This generation is lagging behind, big time.

From name calling, bullying, doing drugs, engaging in casual sex, committing crime, and simply repeating empty platitudes instead of forming one's own opinion, this generation leaves much to be desired in the way of maturity.

If not behaving like them makes me an old man, then so be it😊

If by different than my age, are you asking if I look older, or younger than my age? If so, according to most people I've came across in my life, I look older than my age (and people have always said I have looked older than my age).

In my opinion, I look my age though. When I was about nine years old, people thought I was twelve years old. When I was 13 years old, people thought I was 17 years old. When I was in my early 20s, people thought I was in my 30s, and now I hear I look about 40 years old ever since I've been about 28 years old.

I do think you look older than your age. I would guess you to be about 30 years old, but contrary to what people believe, you don't change that much via physical appearance from 24 to 30 years old.

By the way, all the complaints about your generation (Generation Z) are complaints about every generation. If anything, I would say your generation is more mature for your age group than every older generation when they were in your age group. Statistically speaking, you all aren't engaging in any of the behaviors you listed near as much as people in previous generations when they were in your age group, at least here in the United States of America.
