So this guy I have a crush on asked me, If I‘d like to go out with him sometime & talk, because he feels understood by me.

We know esch other from school & have studied together (where we ended up opening up extremely to each other).

But what does it exactly mean when a man tells you, that he feels this way?

Yo, when a guy tells you he feels "understood" by you, that's actually a really good sign that he likes you. Here's what I think it means:

- He feels comfortable opening up to you about personal stuff in a way he doesn't with other people. That takes a lot of trust.

- You must be a good listener who doesn't judge him or jump to conclusions. He feels you get where he's coming from.

- He sees you as someone he can confide in without fear of being thought less of. That's rare for a dude to find.

- By understanding his perspective, you validate his feelings instead of minimizing them. Dudes love that shit, especially from a girl!

- He wants to spend more time with you because your connection is deeper than most. You get to his real self below the surface.

My advice - say yes to that date for sure! He wants someone he meshes with on that level. Keep making him feel heard and it could definitely lead to more, if you know what I mean ;). Dude's putting himself out there - don't leave him hanging!
