Guy stopped me on my drive to work to ask for my number?

I was driving to work one morning and a cut the guy next to me off ( by accident). He smiled and told me to follow him to the nearest exit. He got out of his car and said " I love the way you drive can I take you out to lunch. I gave him my number and drove to work. He called me from a private number to set up a date but I told him I was busy at the moment and I would call him back. I tried calling him at the number he gave me but it belonged to someone else... he called me 3x the next day but I'm rarely on my phone and missed his calls. Why would he not want to give me his number?

Sounds suspicious. My first thought before all this is why would you follow a stranger like that. Not very smart. Two of he’s calling from an anonymous number he’s hiding something. Plus the fact that the number he gave you belonged to someone else. A lot of red flags going up there. I’d pass on this.
