Why are American men having such a hard time dating and connecting?

Men these days have it rough. Women are more independent and aren’t settling for what they call less. Which isn’t the case at all these men are very valuable in their own unique way. Interest and influence by all sorts of media and word of mouth is the gateway for a specific stereotype of guy that is promoted. Do the men have some blame? Yes, but in two different ways. The stereotyped guy most girls share an attraction for. And also the guy who is not broadcasted.

How is the not broadcasted type in the wrong. They haven’t built themselves up to a man they can’t even respect when they look themselves in the mirror.

How is the man stereotyped in the wrong? They do a lot of building on themselves but on the other hand they also tear down the other guy in the process. Some would say it’s the “pecking order” in which I get but there is ways to do so without using another for a boost. Thats bullying.

Women start to value yourself more it’s hard to respect you if your choice in partners change the integrity you have for yourself.

Between obesity, earning less money with less prospects and women's impossibily high standards. Like even below average women are shooting for guys that are 8 or 9. Women on social media gives American women constant validation and they all are so deluded they think they are super models.

Saw a guy on YouTube saying that Eastern European women aren't more beautiful than American women they just aren't fat. Like all an average American woman has to be to be considered an 8 is not be fat.

these last two weeks I've been out and about a whole lot, public transportation, public places, buildings and all that...

so many good looking people out there... so much potential to get to know someone new, lol

at least once a day, I do connect with someone here and there... just casual chat, though, not entertaining more BUT... I could have done it so many times already

I don't have that issue, but from what I've seen:

1. Putting all eggs in one basket, so to speak. A guy will spend weeks or months plotting and planning only to ask and discover that the girl does not look at him that way. He gives up.

2. Listening to other guys speak negatively about women. Not that there are not toxic women out there, but broad brushing all can create an attitude that repels the ones who are not toxic.

3. Some are widowers. My dad had no interest in dating after my mom died.

4. Some went through such bad divorces that they do not want to risk a sequel.

5. Porn addiction. Watching a lot of porn creates absurd expectations of how women should look and act.
