I have observed that my conventionally attractive friends tend to get dumped sooner than women who are average or below average looking. I have also observed this pattern with men I work with. I do not mean to say that my friends who are not conventionally attractive have bad personalities; on the contrary, they often have more modest dating expectations. This is just something I have noticed and I am curious to know if men feel intimidated by looks or if it is simply a matter of lack of connection?
