I receive a drunk text/call tonight, -from a man I’ve only spoken to a handful of times in the last week- in which he told me to STFU multiple times?

I feel like the question title summed it up pretty well lol. But anyway, I had met this guy online and our conversation to get to know each other from app, to text, to phone calls. He called tonight after he said he was at a bar and it became very clear he was drunk. He kept talking about who knows what, until the part where he mentioned sometimes the cops roll around the bar he goes to and arrests people. I stated that I would prefer not to be arrested in life and wouldn't want to put myself in a situation where that happens. He became “mad” I guess? He was like “do you even know what you’re saying?” And I said yes, I stated a simple preference of mine. And I say what I mean and mean what say. And while I was trying to explain further he said “Shut the fuck up.” That’s a HARD line for me and I told him that it’s not appropriate and disrespectful to say that to me again I would hang up. Not ten minutes later, he said it again after I barely said a word. A HARD NO. I had told him my boundary and he continued to ignore it. So I said I think you’re not in the best place right now and I told you i would hang up if you said that to me again, so I did.

he's since called me 14 times. FOURTEEN. And left numerous texts, also a voice message and voicemail. He sounds drunk AF. And his texts would be like translating Martian.

And since we haven’t ever met yet… why is he doing this and thinking its okay? I’m in utter shock of his drunken unrelentlessness, and am utterly disgusted that a guy thinks it’s okay to blow up a woman’s phone like this.

The only reasonable thing to do in this case is to block him on your phone and that would solve the problem. Unless of course, you gave him your address and/or links to your other social media accounts or that your social media account names are easy to find.

If you are one of those persons that has multiple social media accounts, then you will be stalked by him if he finds them.

As to why he is acting the way he did, I can only suppose that he had nothing better to do while being intoxicated. Whatever it was, it was a pretty good indicator of his character and personality. That is a guy you should avoid to interact at all costs.
