I’ve got Asperger’s and I find that a lot of men I’m friends with who have it too, seem to talk a lot more than the women do and I find it overwhelming; but I don’t know how to tell them without hurting their feelings, because they’re just being friendly. What’s a kind way to get them to tone it down?

Well you could slip it in between some conversation that whenever someone speaks a lot you get overwhelmed and find it very uncomfortable. That way you wouldn't aim it to anyone and they should be able to understand.
Or you could say how you like to spend time quietly or by talking less as more gossip makes you uneasy.
I'm sorry, because of my Aspergers, when there's a lot of conversation i feel overwhelmed. I appreciate that you're just being friendly, but if we could talk a little less it would help me to be more comfortable.

Tell them you are feeling over stimulated? They should understand how you feel. Are you sure they have ASD? I haven't met any chatty Kathy's with ASD. I myself am the least talkative person I know.
Tell them to shut the fuck up
